CENTER FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN AND PHOTOGRAPHY

THE CENTER

P8-Ex's mission is to preserve, enrich and enhance visual heritage, celebrating the evolution of techniques, styles and themes that have shaped those disciplines. It aims to provide a platform where the public can explore iconic works and discover new talent.
By collecting, preserving as well as exhibiting photographs and graphic works, P8-Ex enables visitors to appreciate the impact of these media on culture, society and history. This place of encounter and reflection is also committed to raising visitors' awareness through temporary exhibitions, workshops and conferences, tackling contemporary issues such as the place of the image in society.
P8-Ex aims to be an inclusive space, giving everyone access to an enriching and immersive experience in the world of visual art.

Mission

P8-Ex wants to create a bold, immersive experience, transforming unconventional venues into exhibition spaces. We push back the traditional boundaries of museography and scenography, aiming to renew, with each exhibition, the way works are perceived and experienced by the public.
In atypical spaces - be they former factories, open-air buildings or unexpected urban structures - each installation becomes a work in itself, where the environment dialogues with the photographs and graphic creations on display. In this way, P8ex aims to challenge and engage visitors in an artistic exploration in which each exhibition offers a new perspective, both immersive and conceptual.
By continually reinventing its spaces and narratives, the center aims to broaden the horizons of visual art, while making art accessible and inspiring for all.
